It looks like Paul Che (車保羅) will be adding fashion model to his CV! The 64-year-old was spotted making his way down the catwalk at Shanghai fashion week with a walk that’s uniquely his own. Wearing an eye-catching Barbie pink look from head to toe topped with a long tan coat, it’s safe to say he drew all eyes.

I’m glad that old man Che is a late bloomer” someone commented whilst another pointed out “he has a pretty good height. He’s quirky and has his own style”. Standing at 190cm tall, the former actor’s lanky frame makes for a good clothes hanger. *lol*

Before walking away from his acting career years ago, Paul Che was a familiar face on TVB projects where he often played supporting characters. Amongst his works, he’s famously known for playing Pang Tou She in TVB’s 1998 drama The Duke of Mount Deer.  It was his work on the drama that probably landed him a stint as a coach in the star-studded variety show Memories Beyond Horizons featuring Hong Kong veteran actors last year.

Since the end of his contract with TVB in 2003, Paul has taken on various jobs to make ends meet. He’s been a construction worker, a security guard, a street market supervisor and even worked as a health inspector before showbiz knocked on his door once again.
