Strong Woman Do Bong Soon fans rejoice! Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik are set to reunite for a cameo appearance in the spinoff series Strong Girl Nam-Soon.
In the original series, Park Bo Young played the titular role of Do Bong Soon, a young woman with superhuman strength. Park Hyung Sik portrayed the character of Ahn Min Hyuk, the charming CEO of a gaming company. Their undeniable chemistry and comedic timing certainly made the couple a fan favorite.
Six years later, the two stars are reuniting for a special appearance in Strong Girl Kang Nam-Soon, which focuses on three generations of women with incredible strength. It is led by Lee Yoo Mi who plays Bong Soon’s second cousin who flew from Mongolia to search for her family. The series also stars Kim Jung Eun, Ong Seong Wu, and Byeok Woo Seok.
Snippets of their cameo have already sparked interest online. In one delightful scene, we find Bong Soon at a police station, and just when you think things can’t get more exciting, Min-Min makes a dramatic entrance. Another picture shows him affectionately patting her head. One has Kim Hae Sook‘s character, Gil Joong Gan meeting the duo. She plays the grandmother of the titular role, Nam Soon.
Before this, Bo Young already gave viewers a glimpse of what’s in store during a recent live session. She mentioned that she took a pic with Hyung Sik to share on social media as soon as their cameo hits the screens. Their cameo episode is set to air tomorrow, October 14.
