Under the Skin star Jin Shijia has just confirmed that he has a son. The actor has always been very private about his personal life. He literally has zero updates on his social media account, which doesn’t even have him on the profile picture but a Japanese actor that he’s a fan of.
Recently, a video of him attending a wedding circulated online. Jin Shijia who’s the groom’s olderr cousin is giving a speech on stage when a little boy is seen trying to get his attention and wanting to be picked up. The host then asks if the boy is his son, to which he nods yes. The host suggested that father and son perform together, but Jin Shijia politely declined, saying he’s just an actor who can’t sing or dance well. .
Reports say that the mother of Jin Shijia’s child is his agent. Although many were surprised with the news, it hasn’t come out of nowhere. Back in 2020, he was in dating rumors after being photographed with a woman. Just last year, a gossip blogger revealed that the actor is not only married but also a father since he was papped with his family. Jin Shijia’s fans have been incredibly supportive of the news, saying that it is high time that he settles down.
The 36-year-old actor who made his acting debut in the 2009 hit sitcom iPartment drew attention again last year after starring alongside Tan Jianci in the crime series Under the Skin. The two are slated to return for its second season. He also has the upcoming series Sword Rose with Dilraba Dilmurat. He’ll be back in the medical drama The Heart starring Mark Chao and Mao Xiaotong, which premieres tonight, Oct 7.
