It’s been ages since Edison Chen released music – since 2015 to be exact. In recent years, the 43-year-old singer-actor has stepped back from showbiz, opting instead to focus on his growing streetwear and fashion brand CLOT. It looks like that’s all about to change as the rapper slash actor turned entrepreneur recently took to the stage at a music festival in Chengdu. Let’s just say Edison’s return to the stage was not without its own controversy as his performance saw him explicitly rapping about female body parts.
The Canadian-born Hong-Kong star was discovered at the age of 19. He the entered the music scene and also ventured into acting as he starred in hit movies like Infernal Affairs and Initial D in the early 2000s. As far as comebacks go, he’ll be back with the upcoming release of his new song ‘Godzilla’ that’s part of his 3 Corners album.
