Legend of Anle star Dilraba Dilmurat’s recent airport appearance has sparked a wave of controversy when a fan touched her on the back.
The incident occurred amidst a sea of people surrounding her at the airport, eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the 31-year-old actress who was there to catch her flight. Dilraba, casually dressed in a backless top, long pants and a cap, was waving to her fans and making her way through them when a hand, presumably a female fan’s, suddenly reached out and tapped her back. Footage of it quickly spread across social media platforms, generating backlash from fans and the public since the tap was unsolicited and inappropriate.
Someone from Dilraba’s side with the handle Xiaowanzi Telegram (小丸子电报机) addressed netizens’ concerns saying that security measures have been upgraded and that they intend to use the VIP route for the actress’s return trip. She also addressed the girl involved, saying that she is relatively young and asked for people not to blame her excessively.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time the actress has dealt with something like this. However, she has been known to handle such situations with composure and professionalism in the past like when a man suddenly proposed to her onstage. This incident once again highlights the need to learn to respect personal space.
