Blackpink‘s Rose and Peninsula actor Kang Dong Won’s respective agencies have finally responded to the dating rumors surrounding their talents that started over a now-deleted photo by former Burberry Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci which saw the two among the guests in a luxurious mansion by fashion designer Eva Chow.
Since then, many Netizens even issued ‘proofs’ of their alleged relationship based on matching items and accessories the two were spotted wearing. Some were against the 16-year age gap since the actor is currently 42 and Rose just celebrated her 26th birthday in LA last February. The same photo also gave rise to drug rumors due to some comments asking why they look high and what’s on the table. YG Entertainment immediately clapped back to deny the drug allegations and that they’re pursuing legal action against rumourmongers.
With the dating rumors also gaining traction, YG Entertainment issued yet another statement on April 27. They wrote: “It is difficult to confirm because it is the private matter of the artist.” Meanwhile, Kang Dong Won’s agency, Creative Artist Agency, also released a statement saying that the actor indeed came to a gathering with close friends but they are unable to confirm because it is his personal schedule.
Rose and Kang Dong Won were both labelmates under YG Entertainment until December 2022 when the actor left his agency of 7 years. He is currently under the US-based Creative Agents Agency.
