Following speculation that she and her boyfriend Andrew Wu Yong’en have broken up, Ava (formerly Olivia) Wang Ziwen indirectly confirmed the split on season two of reality show Love Actually 半熟恋人 when she said she had no lover now. Back in January, Netizens noticed that the 36-year-old actress had scrubbed her social media account of everything related to Wu Yong’en. This naturally sparked break up rumours between the pair who kept mum on the situation.
But even prior to that, suspicion that all was not well in their relationship started to pop up when Netizens noticed something felt off with Wu Yong’en when he and his girlfriend were on the variety show Let it Be 牧野家族 together last July. As far as appearances are concerned, media reports that the last time the couple was photographed together was at the airport in October last year. Then when Wu Yong’en celebrated his birthday in December, Wang Ziwen was not on hand to celebrate with him. But what ultimately sealed the deal was when Netizens noticed all posts pertaining to him on the actress’ social media account had been deleted.
Wang Ziwen and Wu Yong’en’s love story was supposed to be a successful dating reality show pairing. The two met as participants back in 2021 on the dating reality show A Journey for Love. It was whilst on a date with Wu Yong’en that the world found out her long-kept secret when she confessed to him that she has a 7-year-old son.
