Finally after more than a month of waiting, some good news on Taiwanese singer-actor Jimmy Lin who is at long last home from hospital. Jimmy and his son Jenson were involved in a shocking accident last month after the Tesla they were both in suddenly accelerated, slamming into a barrier before bursting into flames. Father and son were luckily pulled out just in time by good Samaritans before it exploded.
Jimmy’s injuries were reportedly pretty extensive with multiple fractures on his face and body requiring different surgeries to fix. On Monday, reports alleged that Jimmy’s condition deteriorated after undergoing facial reconstructive surgery. Supposedly, because he had to get titanium implants on his jaw, he is unable to eat and had to be fed liquid food through a tube. This was refuted by the hospital’s director though.
Asking for Time and Space to Recuperate and Spend Time With His Family
Today, Jimmy personally took to social media for the first time since the accident to give everyone an update.
“This is Jimmy Lin. Thank you very much for your concern. The last few days, I have already returned home from the hospital to recuperate. Thank you to the good Samaritans who rescued myself and Jenson. And thank you everyone for your support and encouragement during this time. Regarding my condition, I have successfully completed the treatments and procedures under the professional care of Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. I just need some time to heal and recuperate.
Lastly, please give myself and my family some time and space. At the moment, I just want to be able to spend time with my family. And please do not believe unsubstantiated rumours. I will do my best to rest and recover, and will get back to work as soon as my body feels better. Thank you once again, and I’m grateful to everyone who helped me.”

I’m so glad he’s okay! Fortunate outcome from an unfortunate event. Still curious what exactly happened with him and the Tesla but ultimately none of my business.
