GOT7’s Jackson Wang just became the newest member of the renowned dance crew The Kinjaz. “WELCOME TO THE KIN” they announced on Instagram. Included in the announcement was the super cute moment when the group’s co-founder Anthony Lee formally asked an ecstatic Jackson to join the crew.
Jackson Wang and The Kinjaz actually met a few years ago whilst working on the street dance variety show Hot Blood Dance Crew 热血街舞团 where Jackson served as a dance mentor.
That meeting soon developed into a friendship which saw many collabs between them and then now, into a new chapter with Jackson officially joining the renowned dance group.
In a recent podcast, the idol revealed how meeting The Kinjaz team had inspired him to explore creative dance more seriously. As an idol, dancing was part of the training all trainees received. However, Jackson said that he never imagined he’d take it a step further or that dancing would play a bigger part in his career had it not been for his friendship with The Kinjaz.
