We’re getting a double dose of good news from South Korea today first with what’s already dubbed as the “wedding of the century” featuring everyone’s favourite CloY couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin aka #BinJin. Then there’s also the final casting announcement from the producers of the highly anticipated Korean remake of the hit Taiwanese series Someday or One Day confirming Ahn Hyo Seop, Jeon Yeo Been and Kang Hoon are set to star.

Directed by Kim Jin Won, the Netflix remake is entitled “A Time Called You” with the story set between the years 2023 and 1998. Actress Jeon Yeo Been will star as Joon Hee who travels back to 1998 to wake up in the body of 18-year-old Min-joo. Likewise, Ahn Hyo Seop will also take on the dual roles of Yeon-Joon  – Joon Hee’s boyfriend who passed a year ago, and Si-Heon, the 1998 “version” of her deceased BF. Meanwhile, actor Kang Hoon will be playing the role of Si-Heon’s BFF In-gyu who for the longest time has been nursing a crush on Min-joo.

In recent years, Someday or One Day has been steadily gaining viewership in South Korea that fans must surely be pretty chuffed to hear about this recent development. Aside from a Korean version of the hit series, a movie version featuring the original trio of Patrick Shih, Greg Hsu and Alice has also been given the green light.
