Since his divorce to Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu was announced last November, Wang Xiaofei’s love life continues to be a topic of interest with rumors of a younger girlfriend. In December, Wang Xiaofei issued a lawyer’s statement against malicious assumptions about his life and work.
A few days ago, Wang Xiaofei, 40, was papped holding hands with a mystery woman whom media identified as the 26-year-old actress Zhang Yingying. Following this, a screenshot of what was supposedly a now-deleted post from Yingying’s Weibo account denying any connection with Wang Xiaofei circulated the internet.
“Wang Xiaofei and I don’t have any relationship. He has relationships with many other girls” read the alleged screenshot. However, Zhang Yingying’s lawyers not only called out the screenshot as forged but also the rumours that she deleted it. They declare that their client has not published anything on Weibo. Moreover, they strictly condemned the dissemination of false information against their client. They alsso reserve the right to pursue legal responsibility.
Nonetheless, the statement did not confirm or deny the rumours of a blossoming relationship between Yingying and Wang Xiaofei.
