Fans surely won’t have any trouble recognising the familiar faces of award-winning Hong Kong stars Sheren Tang and Wayne Lai. The two played an onscreen duo in the highly successful TVB series Rosy Business in 2009 and No Regrets in 2010. The 57-year-old actor has focused his career in Mainland China in recent years, and It seems the pair had a mini reunion of sorts in Changsha recently, meeting up for dinner to sample some of Hunan’s delish cuisine. Sheren made sure to document the occasion by snapping a photo of them together with Wayne’s wife and manager Julia Leung.
Although it’s certainly not the first time seeing the two former co-stars reunited, it is certainly nostalgic since it’s already been twelve years from when Rosy Business first aired. In the past, plans for them to star in a possible Rosy Business fourth instalment were rumoured to be in the works. However, it’s unclear at the moment if this is still going to happen since the drama allegedly failed to drum up enough support in the face of the pandemic. For now, it looks like fans will just have to contend themselves with an off-screen selfie of Hong Po-Kei and Chai Kau… at least until Rosy Business 4 becomes a reality.
