Yes, yes and yes! After having to report Jeremy Tsui as a second lead in this and that, it’s great to finally see him take the lead in a costume drama. I don’t know why there’s a cute dog in the picture, maybe it’s his dog, but the dog wishes Jeremy Tsui good luck and high ratings!

On April 15, 2018, Jeremy Tsui (The Legend of Dugu), Viva He Hong Shan (The Avengers), Cao Xi Wen (Longitude 38 Line) and Wayne Lai (Daddy Cool) were in Hengdian World Studios to attend the filming ceremony for Phoenix Game 鳳弈, an upcoming Chinese drama about a palace maid who rises up the ranks in the inner palace. It seems like one of those storylines that will focus more around the women, but I’m still hyped over Jeremy Tsui’s casting. He will be playing a strategist who saves the heroine from trouble when she first arrives at the palace.

Also worth noting is that Hong Kong veteran actor Wayne Lai who has racked up numerous acting accolades over his long and successful career with TVB has joined the cast. It will be his first Mainland Chinese drama.

It is about time that Jeremy gets a lead role. He and Ady An were brilliant in the Legend of Dugu. All of these dramas are the same, but I will watch for Jeremy's acting.

Happy for the dude. He rocks in Dugu.
Not sure about his female lead if it will be a strong cast, never heard of Viva before. And, hopefully leading role will be a good thing. Ahem, if we look at that main leading dude in Dugu he (just his character) sucks right?
