Upcoming fantasy romance series The Blue Whisper 驭鲛记之与君初相识 recently released some stills and a trailer to give everyone a little sneak peek at what’s to come. Dilraba Dilmurat stars as Yun He, a powerful demon master with the unusual ability to control demons. Tasked by the Princess Shunde to fulfill three of her wishes and “control” the merman prince Chang Yi played by Allen Ren Jialun whom she holds captive, Yun He is faced with the impossible choice between her own freedom or Chang Yi’s.
Now that you’ve had a look at the drama’s trailer, did you catch that bit where Dilraba’s character Yun He turns into a nine-tailed fox? For a minute there it brought me back to her Feng Jiu in Eternal Love of Dream. However despite the similarity, Dilraba’s Feng Jiu versus her Yun He each give off different vibes. Whereas Feng Jiu was more playful and cute, Yun He is totally more bad arsed when compared. What do you guys think?
Then there’s Ren Jialun’s super broody merman prince. I guess anyone held against their will by a person he’d rescued (Princess Shunde) would be unhappy too. Nonetheless as Yun He and Chang Yi grow closer together, the bit where he says “I want to go home but I don’t want you to die” is just gut-wrenching. You see, in a bit of a Little Mermaid-y twist, the only way he can save Yun He comes at the price of giving up his tail. Without it, he can never go back to the sea.

Nope, I am not anybody’s fan. I don’t follow them or dig up their past or their love lives or buy whatever they are promoting. I call what I see on screen what it is. Acting skills are independent of popularity, wealth, pretty looks or how big their fan bases are. There are many traffic actors and most of them have mediocre acting skills. I can name others too. But that might start another barrage from angry fans. However, there are also some really really good young ones coming up.
By the way, I never said WYB is a bad actor. I said ‘mediocre’, ‘average’, ‘he’s not yet a good actor’. And I said he can improve into a great actor if he really put in the work for it. Same goes to all the others in this category. But many traffic actors do not, they just depend on their popularity, their good looks, their fan base. That won’t last long, cos they all get old and young beautiful ones come on the scene every year. That’s why eventually, they try to get into serious roles or focus on other businesses. Probably that’s what ZLY is trying to do with this particular role – to try to be taken as a serious actor.
So I would suggest all fans to have a more objective balanced mindset. Just because others don’t praise your particular celebrity interests to high heavens for everything, doesn’t mean we are all anti-fans or rival fans or out to get them or whatever. Eg. I say WYB’s acting is just average – it doesn’t mean I don’t like him. I love to see him dance. I love his rare smiles too.
A ‘C’ grade is a “C’ grade, no matter how much they are loved. And it doesn’t mean we can’t love them anyway.

When it comes to other actors and actresses, all they want is to do their best in those unluckily bad dramas handed to them by their agencies. That is not even allow. If they dare to wish for serious dramas they will get roasted to death. You don’t see these type of hate when it comes to her, this one actress with an A4 waist, she’s so sick she has to use 32 doubles when she wants to film in Wuxia genres. Her fans rather protect the A4 waist but not her seriousness as an actress and health condition. Although her walks are wobbly like she drunk, her attention level is super low, her eyes are glued up but they look like they want to go to sleep so bad. She’s on the verge of dying, even her husbands said she was depressed. Her fans are very unconcern. I don’t know about the body double. He doesn’t look super muscular, just lean (coming from a person family competes competitively in fitness competitions). Didn’t Ren Jialun used to work out quite a bit? I’m not a fan of his, but I did stumble across his instagram recently. He looked pretty cut to me not too long ago, maybe for a role. It’s not hard to build abs and some definition if you start off slim.
Anyway, I’m not super interested in the previews so far, but I’ll give it a shot when it airs.
