Guess who’s back together working on the upcoming drama Light Chaser Rescue 追光者? Lol okay so the headline might’ve been a dead giveaway, but it’s great to have Leo Luo Yunxi and Janice Wu Qian working together once again to star in their third collab – an urban drama about rescue workers and first responders which kicked off filming yesterday, July 5. Li Mingde, Li Tingting, Xu Shaoying and Yang Anqi also star.
In Light Chaser Rescue, Luo Yunxi plays a lawyer named Luo Ben who makes his way to earthquake devastated Xichuan in search of his sister. Whilst there, he encounters Janice Wu Qian’s character Zhan Yan, a brilliant medical doctor attached to the rescue team who takes him under their wing as he eventually trains up to become a rescue worker himself.
Following her secret marriage and motherhood reveal, it’s really great to see Janice back in front of the cameras all ready to start filming! The fact that she’s also looking good and fabulous is only the icing to the cake according to Netizens who pointed out how she is sparkling!
Likewise, this is also a treat for fans who’ve followed the two from their 2015 pairing in My Sunshine 何以笙箫默 where they both played the younger version of Tiffany Tang Yan and Wallace Chung’s Mo Sheng and Yi Chen with many saying that they look the same even after all these years. They also played a couple in the 2017 xianxia A Life Time Love 上古情歌.
