R1SE Announces Disbandment Date on June 14

It’s been two years since R1SE debuted and the time has come to say goodbye. Its management, Wajijiwa Entertainment, announced today that the group will be disbanding as of 0:00 on June 14, 2021.

R1SE is a Chinese male group formed from the 11 winners of Produce Camp 2019. Its members are comprised of leader Zhou Zhennan, He Luoluo, Yan Xujia, Xia Zhiguang, Yao Chen, Zhai Xiaowen, Zhang Yanqi, Liu Ye, Ren Hao, Zhao Lei and Zhao Rang. R1SE is among the growing number of temporary pop groups born out of reality shows. In the span of two years, they have encountered ups and downs and weathered many controversies to stay together. The group which debuted on June 8, 2019 was expected to disband on June 8, 2021.

Now that their disbandment date has been extended by a few days, fans can begin the 12-day countdown with the boys up until their “graduation.” A farewell concert will be held on June 13 in Beijing. All the members have also updated their Weibo profile pics with their solo photos for the upcoming concert.
