I was a bit surprised to see Tientsin Mystic 2 河神2 pushing ahead with a premiere so soon after Zhang Mingen’s alleged cheating scandal that seems to have only gotten worse with Hu Bingqing’s tell-all interview where she denies being a third party yet makes Zhang Mingen come off like a complete jerk.
Tientsin Mystic 2 already had one hurdle to overcome due to the casting change from Li Xian to Jin Shijia and the bad news surrounding Zhang Mingen certainly doesn’t help. Regardless, we’ve got one upcoming drama for the month of July so far and I’d be curious to see how it fares. Please remember to check back for more updates.
