CSM59 Cities + Online
It’s a new week and I kind of love that Wang Kai is topping the charts everywhere. Serenade of Peaceful Joy has hit a series high of 3% in CSM59 ratings. Its numbers trend lower in subsequent days but the show retains a huge lead over the rest of the dramas on primetime. Hunting in second place garners 2% in CSM59 ratings on average.
We’re seeing some movement in rankings online with Hunting now taking the top spot ahead of Serenade of Peaceful Joy. Fantasy action drama Legend of Awakening jumps to 6th place less than a week after it premiered. Wang Kai also takes the crown in the celebrity list while Yang Zi is this week’s new addition in 9th place.

What an achievement… im glad he's doing well. Btw are those two dramas worth watching?? Any romance in those dramas?

Hunting and Serenade of Peaceful Joy are 2 very different dramas. Hunting is contemporary crime drama, based on real events that happened during the 2008 financial crisis. SPJ is a historical drama telling the life story (with quite a high degree of accuracy) of one of Chinese most respected emperors. I am following both. And they are really good. That's why they have dominated the TV rankings since they started airing. Both are now about halfway through. There are love interests in both but they are not the fluffy romance story type. Guess it all depends on what type of drama you are interested in. And Wang Kai …. 2 completely different persons. It's a coincidence that these 2 dramas are aired at the same time. But it has cemented his reputation as a versatile actor with depth and range.

Waahh thank you for the explanation. I want to watch both dramas, but the finance thing, hmm, i disliked everything related to finance lols, i found it boring but who knows, with wang kai in it, im gonna love it haha.
Maggie jiang is a miss or a hit for me. But wang kai.. aaahh.. i really like him since NIF.
