The timing couldn’t be better for Love Under the Moon, also known as The Moonlight Doesn’t Understand My Heart 山月不知心底事, which stars Victoria Song and Oho Ou. Both are currently in their respective web dramas Moonshine and Valentine and Hero’s Dream.
Although not her first drama, Moonshine is arguably Victoria Song’s breakout role with respect to her acting ability. The moon seems to be a lucky charm for the actress, and it seems serendipitous that she’ll be going from moonshine to moonlight for her next drama. Never mind that the story seems infinitely tragic with two brothers and their entanglements with one woman, I’d love to see it anyway due to spillover love for the leads.

There has been no news on the male leads aside from Oho Ou who is playing one of the brothers, until it was recently announced that Taiwanese actor Danson Tang joins the cast. I was surprised to learn that he is not playing the brother but a character called Shen JuAn, which shows up in two of Xin Yiwu’s novels The Moonlight Doesn’t Understand My Heart and Never Gone.
The role of the younger brother goes to newcomer Xia Ningjun. Also in the cast are Sun Yi, Zhang Yue, Xiang Yao, Wen Zhengrong, Yang Tongshu, Ding Yongdai and Li Chongxiao.

I really like both leads in their current drama. While hero's dream didn't get a lot of love but it introduces me to some hitorical figures I didn't know. I really love Ou Hao and Katrina Hai chemistry so I'm really interest on how he'll fare up with Victoria.

I honestly didn't think Victoria can handle the cry fest of this drama with her acting ability But she surprised me ( and others too, I'm sure) with all the crying and angst scenes in Moonshine and Valentine…
So I'm excited to what she will bring in her next performance.
