Hong Kong actor and film producer Louis Koo has been gifting fans with throwback after throwback. After a successful movie sequel to the TVB time-travel drama A Step in the Past after 25 years, the 55-year-old actor who had released several albums in the early 2000s, is also making a music comeback with a new MV for a major brand campaign titled “Beyond Time and Space.” The best part, it’s actually a duet with Jessica Hsuan who also stars alongside him as the female lead in the MV. Raymond Lam also makes a special appearance.
Earlier, Louis Koo and Jessica Hsuan had been spotted together on a beach, sparking speculation. And it’s now been revealed that they were filming the music video. While many fans were thrilled by this collaboration, some criticized the project, saying it capitalizes too heavily on their “couple pairing”. The two portray lovers transcending time, appearing in both modern and ancient costumes; while the video, which is both emotional and romantic, is filled with tears and ending with a kiss.
