Dong Jie addresses her divorce from ex-husband Pan Yueming in a recent interview, admitting that she was “willful back then.” Seemingly in response, the 51-year-old actor wrote on Weibo, “Do you really have to be this pragmatic?”
Their past has once again become the focus of public attention. The two fell in love after working together in 2005, married in 2008, and welcomed their son Dingding in 2009. During that time, Pan Yueming even called Dong Jie “the best wife.” In 2009, Pan Yueming was seriously injured in a car accident, and Dong Jie took care of him.
