Kim Seon Ho's Agency Denies Tax Evasion Allegations

Fantagio has issued a statement to deny tax evasion allegations that actor Kim Seon Ho may have reduced taxes through a personal company, following similar accusations recently raised against fellow actor Cha Eun Woo who’s also from the same agency.

South Korean media claimed that although Kim Seon Ho is an artist under Fantagio, he also operates his own company, with his parents listed as internal directors. Reports claimed the arrangement may have been used to reduce his tax burden, allegedly allowing company funds to circulate within the family and be used for personal expenses.

In response, Fantagio acknowledged that Kim Seon Ho who joined Fantagio in March 2025 had indeed established a company but firmly denied any intention to evade taxes. The agency stated that the company had not been in operation for over a year and that procedures to dissolve the business were already underway.

Fantagio emphasized that the company was founded before Kim officially joined the agency and clarified that it was originally set up to support his theatre-related work. The agency stressed that there was no deliberate attempt to reduce or avoid taxes nor are there legal issues involving the actor.

The agency concluded by reiterating that Kim Seon Ho has cooperated fully with relevant procedures and that the matter should not be misconstrued as wrongdoing.
