19-year-old actor Rong Zishan, known for his breakthrough performance as a child star in The Bad Kids, has found himself in hot water after accusations from a woman claiming to be his ex-girlfriend has sent him trending number one on the Chinese hot search. On October 15, actress Li Yuxi (李禹熹) who’s a student at The Central Academy of Drama, took to Weibo to accuse Rong Zishan of cheating, emotional abuse, and physical assault during their relationship. She also shared a police report and medical diagnosis as she demanded a public apology from the actor.
Allegations of Cheating and Assault
According to Li Yuxi, she and Rong Zishan met in July 2024, when he was filming Divas Hit the Road. They began dating in August 2024 but their relationship eventually soured. She claims he became emotionally distant, often ignoring her calls. She was diagnosed with moderate anxiety and depression as a result. When confronted, he reportedly brushed off her suspicions about him being intimate with multiple women. She claimed that by March 2025, she had learned that he really cheated. He apologized and they briefly got back together. However, things went further downhill.
After another argument in October, Li Yuxi alleges that she went to his home but was violently thrown and kicked. She alleged that she did not fight back and later filed a police report. She says Rong Zishan’s management responded by labeling her a “delusional fan” and accusing her of “trespassing.” She shared a medical report that documented her multiple injuries.
Despite some Netizens having a bad impression and labelling him a “spoiled kid” after Divas Hit the Road, Rong Zishan has a whole career ahead of him. He is part of the upcoming drama Live Long and Prosper and showed his talent, scoring top results during the exams for Central Academy of Drama and Beijing Film Academy. His side has not issued any public response while others urged caution, warning against assuming guilt before any official findings.
Updated with response from Rong Zishan Studio:
Rong Zishan’s studio denied that the actor had any romantic relationship with Li Yuxi. They accused her of stalking, secretly photographing, and following him to his home, school, and filming sites. The statement also said she threatened self-harm and tried to frame him when he refused to admit to a relationship. The studio confirmed they have reported her behavior to the police, and a case has been filed to pursue legal responsibility.
