Jet Li Reunites with "Son" Mo Tse from Their Shaolin Movie 30 Years Ago

Who’s up for a dose of nostalgia in the über cute reunion between 62-year-old Hong Kong super star Jet Li and his movie son Mo Tse. Also known as Miu Tse and Xie Miao, the former child actor, martial artist and wushu champion who was just around 10 years old then is now 41 years old. Nowadays, the Chinese actor continues to appear in different projects and has headlined his own web movies.

The father and son duo took the world by storm when they kicked baddie butts in the 90s classics The New Legend of Shaolin (aka The Legend of the Red Dragon) and My Father is a Hero. For the recent father’s day, Jet Li and Mo Tse hilariously reenacted a scene from My Father is a Hero where they dunked their faces in a basin on water to wash it.  Except the minute they came up for air, voila voila, thirty years have passed as it’s 2025!

Jet Li and Mo Tse

They switch back and forth between the movie and present time with a cheeky modern twist. Remember how in The New Legend of Shaolin Hei-Kwun (Jet Li) tells his son that he tore his one and only pair of undies washing it? Well, after 300 years of things being breezy “down there”, Man-ting (Mo Tse) cheekily solves the problem by gifting dad a brand new blue pair. “Look! Here’s your father’s day present… It’s been a ‘cool’ 300 years, here put it on!” Glad to see their tongue in cheek banter still hits the spot despite the years.
