Grace Wong has announced the birth of her daughter! On social media, the 39-year-old Hong Kong actress shared their family photo featuring herself, her husband Daniel Chang, and their newborn baby girl, Audrey Chang.
Grace opened up about her birthing journey, revealing that although she initially planned a C-section and expected to follow a “career woman” approach, everything changed over the past nine months. “Baby is born!” she wrote. “I always thought I’d be the type to choose the date, go for a C-section, and baby formula. But during these nine months, the bond I formed with her made me braver.”
Encouraged by her daughter’s presence and support from her doctor—who coincidentally shares the same name, Grace Wong—she switched plans in the final four months and ultimately delivered Audrey naturally after a labor that lasted over ten hours.
Audrey made her arrival just after midnight. Grace shared that her daughter seemed to wait until after 12 a.m. so her birthday wouldn’t fall on her dad’s, joking that maybe she really is “Daddy’s little girl.” She also expressed deep gratitude for her husband, who stayed by her side throughout: “You’re gonna be the best Daddy!”
Grace Wong started out as the first runner-up in Miss Hong Kong 2007. She became known for her roles in dramas like A Fist Within Four Walls. In 2017, she married non-showbiz husband Daniel, and now, their new chapter as parents has officially begun.
