After three years of marriage, Shin Go-Eun and Yoon Jong-Hwa have gone their separate ways. The Buried Hearts actress took to social media to share that herself and her husband have been divorced for more than half a year already.
“I’ve been struggling for a long time whether or not to write this message. Many people are curious (about the situation) and I think this is something about my life that I need to let people know about so I decided to share this short post. It’s been almost half a year since we ended our three-year marriage and started living our own lives separately.”
The actress said she and her ex-husband Yoon Jong-hwa tried their best but it’s just that their personalities and their values are very different. “We’ve made a lot of effort but it just didn’t work out. From now moving onwards, the both of us will work hard in our respective positions separately.” She adds that she’s regretful to convey such bad news to everyone who’ve wished them well and given their blessings.
Shin Go-eun and Yoon Jong-hwa met in 2019 on the set of Bad Love. Then in 2021, the actress joyfully announced her marriage to the actor whom she’d been dating for more than a year.
