Hats off to Hong Kong actor Eddie Cheung who recently celebrated 28 years of marriage to his wife Gigi Kwok. Amongst the showbiz set, the couple have always been the picture of a perfect couple. Glad to see them happy and just as enamoured of each other almost thirty years on. To mark the occasion, the 62-year-old actor just shared the ultimate throwback – their wedding photo from 28 years ago!
“There’s a type of person you never tire of seeing, who makes you feel like the first time you’ve met. Happy wedding anniversary Mrs Cheung! Thank you for staying by my side for 28 years. In a marital relationship, there are no two people who are completely suited for each other, only two hearts that choose each other.”
In a previous interview, Eddie said the secret to his marriage is to make sure he takes a step back whenever himself and his wife argue. He said the more you ruminate about each other’s flaws the angrier you get. That’s why it’s best to think about the more positive side of your partner as it helps to quickly calm you down he said. He also advised being able to compromise is the key to having better days. Happy wife happy life right?
