International superstar Tony Leung was recently awarded an honorary doctorate by the Hong Kong Universtiy of Science and Technology (HKUST). Accompanying him to receive the prestigious award are two of the most important women in his life – his mum and wife Carina Lau. Whilst Carina is always beside her husband especially during important milestones, mama Leung doesn’t appear publicly as much with her famous son, opting instead to keep a low profile and only appearing during special events.
Wearing a burgundy ceremonial robe and cap, the Shang-chi star was awarded an honorary doctorate in humanities alongside NVIDIA co-founder and CEO Jensen Huang. Carina meanwhile twinned with her husband in a matching bright red suit which she wore to the ceremony as she sat alongside her mum-in-law. “Congratulations to Dr. Leung” she proudly shared online.
