A month ago, Wu Jinyan surprised many with her unexpected marriage announcement to her Story of Yanxi Palace co-star Hong Yao. After last night’s press conference for her currently airing series Kill Me Love Me 春花焰, many are even more convinced the 34-year-old actress is pregnant.

According to Netizens, it was pretty obvious that Wu Jinyan was sporting a teeny baby bump whilst promoting their drama, not to mention the many times the actress was spotted in recent days. Though honestly, it’s a bit harder to tell this time coz she was wearing all black which we all know has a slimming effect. Nonetheless, can we all agree how glowy she looks as she gamely takes a page out of her character Mei Lin’s crazy antics and cracks that whip? I can’t stop laughing at her co-stars expressions!
Baby News Imminent?
Last month, many were convinced something was up because you wouldn’t normally announce marriage right before a new project is coming out. Timings wise, you certainly wouldn’t want anything to take away the spotlight from your new drama.
Wu Jinyan was wearing a black long sleeved dress that showed off her legs but was quite loose at the waist. She then completed her look with high heels. Netizens claim her bump was pretty obvious at that point especially when she went up the stage and stood sideways.
When the topic started trending on the hot search, everyone seemed to be quite supportive. For the most part, people were happy for her though many were concerned why she’s still wearing heels and performing with a whip which they say might be dangerous for a pregnant woman. Whilst majority complimented her saying she still looked so beautiful and radiant whilst pregnant, some pointed out that as long as she can successfully complete her obligations for her drama, there’s no reason for making a big fuss over her pregnancy at all.

Today I saw a very short snippet of Wu Jinyan from another Kill Me Love Me promo event. In this snippet one can clearly see that she is pregnant, already in the 6th or 7th month I would say. The sweet and very revealing thing is that her costar Zhao Xiao Tang is holding her by the hand as she is walking down a few steps.
