On her 33rd birthday last Thursday, Zheng Shuang unexpectedly caused some concern when she shared a tearful selfie looking red in the face. “Time is silent and peaceful, and the years are quiet and calm. Aside from the major backlash and resulting blacklisting from her surrogacy and abandonment scandals, not to mention her tax evasion charges, Zheng Shuang was also ordered by the courts to pay RMB 128 million (around US$ 17.9 million) in July 2023 and RMB 90.5 million (around US$ 12.7 million) in December 2023 to settle contract disputes.

That consolation comment is so wrong and bias. First of all, yes, her ex might not have been innocent, but neither was she. It’s just that her ex ousted her first before she could do it back to him. Also, she’s the one who is not owning up to her shizs. I dislike it when celebrities make it seem like they’re publicly trying and she’s one of them, but I think being honest and genuine is so much better – like do it behind the scenes.
