Nana (Im Jin-ah), has been on the news lately for her risqué role in The Scandal with all the commotion about her “lip fillers” that prompted an apology from the 35-year-old actress. Who would have thought she’d be back in the spotlight so soon, this time for some pleasantly surprising news that she and former BIGBANG member T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun), 38, are now a couple having worked together on the music video for T.O.P’s single, “Studio54” in January.
According to Korean entertainment outlet Dispatch, the two began dating around June, several months after collaborating on the music video. They were reportedly spotted meeting close to where Nana lives with T.O.P wearing a hat and her in a mask, apparently making time to meet despite their busy schedules.
Their backgrounds are similar with both gaining fame as K-pop idols and also going into acting. The MV shoot was their first time working together and also a milestone for T.O.P who finally released his new album, ANOTHER DIMENSION, in April, marking his first solo release in 13 years. T.O.P’s agency, TOPSPOT PICTURES, acknowledged the relationship, stating that the pair became acquainted through the shoot, grew closer and became a couple around June. Nana’s agency, SUBLIME, also confirmed that the two are happily dating. Nana herself appeared to acknowledge the news when she wrote to her fans, “Everyone, you’re amazing, right? I’m a little embarrassed too. I’ll date beautifully and healthily.”
