Meanwhile, Li Sitong took home her first Best Actress award for her debut film Dear You. The 22-year-old actress spoke about her character Nanzhi, saying their biggest similarity is their “refusal to admit defeat.” Looking ahead, Li Sitong said that she would continue receiving professional training and devote herself to further developing her acting career. Hong Kong martial-arts legend and director Yuen Woo-ping took home the Best Director award for wuxia film Blades of the Guardians. The war epic Gezhi Town, starring Xiao Zhan, took home Best Picture and Best Music.
