One clip showed a funny moment when the candle wick reignited after he blew it out, while the other, a video over one minute long, showed him shirtless singing with a group of friends seemingly drunk. The caption read, “Happy night with no company supervision, only the company of friends.” The post quickly drew attention, but it was deleted in less than an hour.
Some netizens viewed the moment as showing a more “real and human side” of a celebrity. Wang Xingyue has often been described as down-to-earth, an actor when he needs to be but just a normal guy when he’s not filming. Nevertheless, some joked that “when the staff saw the video in the middle of the night, the sky probably fell” with the clip being inappropriate for a public platform, explaining why it was quickly deleted.
