The Chinese entertainment industry has been swept into a wave of controversy over a public spat between singer Joker Xue (Xue Zhiqian) and television host Xie Na in defense of her husband singer Zhang Jie. It began when Xue’s former girlfriend, Li Yutong, accused him of misconduct, including alleged bigamy, threats, and emotional manipulation. She also revived past claims that he pressured her into having an abortion. However, she later deleted the posts and said she had no concrete evidence.
Joker Xue Hounded by Allegations from His Ex
Joker Xue, known for hit songs such as “Actor,” has faced relationship scandals before. His complicated history with Li Yutong stretches back more than a decade. In 2017, after publicly reconciling and remarrying his ex-wife Gao Leixin, Li accused him of infidelity and financial deception during their past relationship. The dispute escalated into defamation lawsuits that lasted for years, before Li later claimed the two had reached a settlement.
Xie Na Speaks Up for Singer Husband Zhang Jie
As Li Yutong also referenced a past feud between Joker Xue and fellow singer Zhang Jie, it prompted his wife, Xie Na, to publish a lengthy post on social media demanding that Joker Xue apologize for remarks he made nine years ago on the variety show Roast. During the program, Xue appeared to joke about a man whose success depended on someone more famous, widely interpreted as a reference to Zhang. Xie Na argued that the comments fueled years of online harassment against her husband.
Things became even messier when Zhang Jie’s ex-girlfriend Jesse Duan Xi also spoke out, alleging she had been cheated on during their past relationship and had endured years of cyberbullying. She suggested that public narratives surrounding Zhang’s later relationship with Xie Na contributed to the harassment. In response, Zhang Jie issued a brief statement: “I have always respected past relationships and wish each other well. When I was with Nana (his now wife), I was single. Now I focus only on my family and career, and will let my work speak for itself. I will not say more about this matter.”
Amid the accusations, Joker Xue’s management issued a statement denying Li Yutong’s allegations as “seriously untrue” and announced legal action. However, it did not directly address Xie Na’s demand for an apology.

If she came forward then it made more sense, his ex exposing his dirty laundry now clearly wants revenge.
Sometimes it’d better to let things go, when you try get an apology it can backfire if someone from your husband past makes nasty claims about him 😅
