It’s all about getting another chance to start over in Sun Zhenni and Chen Jingke’s rebirth themed drama Summit of Our Youth 我在顶峰等你. When life didn’t turn out the way as planned, Gu Xuejiao (Sun Zhenni) gets a second chance to “correct” her previous mistakes when an elevator confrontation with her disappointed boss Lin Zhihua (Chen Jingke) lands her back in high school ten years prior.
Reborn, Gu Xuejiao sets out to change her future by transforming her formerly love crazy self to a career focused model student. Then, armed with the knowledge of things to come (ahem, winning lottery numbers and property that shoots up in value in the near future) she ensures her formerly unemployed, heartbroken, betrayed, bankrupt and homeless future will never happen.
With the help of her (future) boss, the highly educated and top student Lin Zhihua aka “study god” who works as a barista in a café to tutor her, she sets about to rewrite her story and in the process, unexpectedly finds love.
Summit of Our Youth is set to hit screens on August 7, 2025 and will also feature Ge Quigu, Tu Zhiying, Wu Chongxuan, Kuai Jiale, Zhang Zhang, Hou Jiayin as well as special appearances from Tian Yitong and Yuan Dasen.
