Leave it to Malaysian singer and actress Joey Chua to remain completely unbothered by the comments and reaction to her midriff bearing holiday OOTD online. For a day out traipsing around Bangkok, Joey styled a colourful halter-style cropped top she just got with an unzipped pair of denim cut-offs that she folded over at the waist. When asked about the unusual way she styled her shorts, the 31-year-old said she simply liked the way how it looks and that she doesn’t really care what people say. “I like them, so leave me alone”.
Despite her confidence, Joey readily admits that wasn’t always the case. She said she once struggled with being overly conscious about her appearance because of her rounded shoulders and hunched back. Being confident and being less self-conscious doesn’t mean ignoring everything, she said it’s all about choosing to believe in herself and having the self-discipline to change and improve herself.
