During a segment of his Beijing concert, JJ Lin shared openly with fans: “In April last year, I was diagnosed with a heart condition and had to rely on medication every day. The news really shocked me—I never thought something like this would happen to me. In that moment, for the first time, I wondered: how much longer can I keep singing? That question mark suddenly felt so real. But I told myself, even if my heartbeat loses its rhythm, I’ll still keep going.”
JJ described the experience as feeling like “the hourglass of life had sped up,” expressing how the diagnosis forced him to confront uncertainty about his future as a singer.
