Japanese pop star Ayumi Hamasaki was quick to laugh off claims that Elon Musk fathered her children. This comes at the heels of fresh rumours that the Tesla CEO had a child with an unnamed Japanese pop singer whom Netizens speculate was Ayumi Hamasaki who’s a mother of two.
Last week, in an article they were writing about the tech mogul, The New York Times included an interview with Ashley St Clair- the mother of his 14th child, where she was quoted saying he’d told her about fathering several children around the world including one with a Japanese pop star and that he would be open to donate his sperm to anyone wanting to have a child.
Netizens quickly bounced off several names online, but the name that seems to keep coming up was Ayumi Hamasaki’s. For one, the singer has not named the father of her children. Netizens also pointed out Ayu also lived in California-the same state as Elon Musk, for decades.
Ayu Sets the Record Straight
“My child’s father is not Elon Musk“. Taking to social media to address the rumours, the 46-year-old pop icon bluntly denied that Musk was the biological father of her children. In her next Instagram Story post, the singer admitted though how she could see why people seem to think so. “Even my mum laughed at me and said ‘this news seems like it’s about Ayu-chan’.” Ayu added that if she was a stranger, she’d also probably guess that it’s her. Despite this however, she was quite vehement in denying the rumours and even said she’ll put her image aside in order to set the record straight. “If my child were to Google it someday, it wouldn’t be good so I definitely need to deny it.“
