After dating for seven years and getting engaged last year, Hong Kong singer Tyson Yoshi and his long time girlfriend Christy are finally married! In contrast to his very fashion forward outfits, the 30-year-old star looked quite dapper in his white suit whilst Christy looked radiant as they showed off their marriage certificates for the camera. Though his agent said he overslept, you can hardly see it with how put together he looked. On June 19, Tyson Yoshi whose real name is Cheng Tsun-yin announced, “The Cheng couple has signed the latest executive order.”
Tyson popped the question back in June of 2024 after being in a serious relationship with Christy for several years. In 2018, he even wrote a song for her, titled what else but “Christy” and leaving no doubts for anyone that it was all about her. The couple held their traditional Chinese betrothal ceremony or guo da li this April.
When it comes to his beloved, it appears the doting singer is sparing no expense. From the 1.8 carat diamond engagement ring which reportedly cost HK$ 460K (~ US$ 58.6K), to the gold and jewellery he presented during their Guo Da Li or bethrothal ceremony, he’s definitely pulling out all the stops. The newlyweds are also expected to jet off to Europe for their wedding reception which media reports costs a cool HK$ 2 million.
