The Days of Seclusion and Love (风月不相关) has already had different names attached to it, with the most recent being Li Qin and Deng Wei. In a statement, they confirmed that the 30-year-old actor is indeed in talks for the new drama and that they are actively negotiating on Deng Wei’s behalf. However, they emphasized that no casting decisions have been finalized, including the female lead, and urged fans to wait for official news.
The statement also denied rumors that filming would begin on April 15, clarifying that the schedule is still being determined. They reminded fans to be patient and avoid spreading unverified information. They also reassured that Deng Wei’s team prioritizes high-quality scripts and strong production teams when selecting projects. Before any official announcement, they urged fans not to give rise to billing order disputes.
Finally, they called on Deng Wei’s fan club, known as “Diamonds,” to refrain from believing or spreading rumors, to respect the filming crew, and to remain amicable. If Deng Wei signs on, this will mark his first drama after Love of the Divine Tree, putting an end to his “acting hiatus.”
