Seven years since Uncontrollably Fond, Kim Woo-bin and Suzy Bae are back together for their latest onscreen collab titled All The Love You Wish For. The upcoming Netflix fantasy k-drama recently released official stills giving us our first peek at Woo-bin’s “newly awakened after a thousand years slumber” genie named Jinn and Suzy’s Ka-Young – Jinn’s dispassionate new master. Much like Aladdin who’s given three wishes by genie, Ka-Young also gets three. How and what she uses those wishes on is where the conflicts and shenanigans in the story begin.
Speaking of shenanigans, check out the all cream ensemble both Ka-Young and Jinn are sporting in one of the stills. I sure hope it’s not one of those scenes where the aforementioned magical mishaps happen because wearing a fully cream outfit is like an accident aka a giant stain, is waiting to happen. Nonetheless let’s just pause to appreciate how snazzy they’re both looking.
A lot has happened since Woo-bin and Suzy last worked together. Kim Woo-bin was diagnosed and battled with a rare nasopharyngeal cancer and is now thankfully cancer free. Whilst Suzy meanwhile has grown in leaps and bounds as an actress. Her performance in 2022’s web series Anna saw her nailing the role of the identity thief almost perfectly. With these duo at the helm plus the fun plot written by famed screenwriter Kim Eun-sook (The Glory, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God aka Goblin and Descendants of the Sun), I can totally see why everyone’s really excited.
