Angie Chiu and Cecilia Yip Who Co-Starred in The Legend of the White Snake from the 90s Reunite Again

It’s another The Legend of the White Snake reunion for the books. Stylish duo Angie Chiu and Cecilia Yip were recently spotted together yet again this time celebrating Marie Claire China’s Power Trip Women’s Influence night. Whilst 70-year-old Angie has always been praised for her ageless beauty, 61-year-old Cecilia with her silvery pixie cut often looks very chic. For the Marie Claire event, the pair certainly didn’t disappoint. Angie opted to keep her look classic but with a twist, layering a beige leather dress over a striped blouse. Cecilia meanwhile went all out for the drama in a black leather suit paired with a dark smoky eye.

These days it seems the famous pair have been spotted together performing at events and hanging out in parties more frequently. Although there’s practically a decade between them in age, it’s nice to see them spending time together more. The various photos below are just the ones Angie shared for December alone!

Angie Chiu and Cecilia Yip practically became overnight sensations with their mega hit drama The Legend of the White Snake which became super popular all across Asia in 1992. Angie played Bai Suzhen who transforms herself into a snake and who falls in love with a male human named Xu Xian – Cecilia’s character. Years after its release, Angie and Cecilia’s version continues to be one of the most popular and frequently played adaptations.
