Since confirming his relationship with online celebrity Ye Ke, Huang Xiaoming doesn’t appear to have had a moment’s peace with all the issues cropping up from his girlfriend’s controversial comments online.  Whereas he should’ve been 100% focused on promoting his newest film A Cover-Up whilst in Xiamen, the actor instead grabbed the opportunity to put out fires caused by Ye Ke’s verbal blunders.

Ye Ke Criticized for the Things She Says

In her most recent debacle, Ye Ke flat out criticised Taiwanese singer David Tao Zhe’s song Will You Marry Me for being “disgraceful”. Meanwhile, Taiwanese rock legend Wu Bai’s compositions she blasted for being “very obscene”. These are just some of her comments that have roused the public’s ire in recent months.

Bowing deeply to everyone for half a minute, Huang Xiaoming said he wanted to apologise to everyone affected by the goings-on in his personal life. “I am very very sorry. My heart is heavy. The truth is, I’ve seen all the messages everyone has been sending me. I will definitely deal with my personal matters and at the same time work hard to do my job well. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to everyone once again”, he said.

The 47-year-old actor sounded troubled as he apologised. Whilst his co-stars patted him in support, he continued to hold his position with his head lowered even as staff motioned for him to stand up. He didn’t straighten up until everyone kept cheering and encouraging him. “Bro, you didn’t do anything wrong” someone cheered.
