New couple alert! Paparazzi recently put the spotlight on former Rocket Girls 101 member Rainbow Xu Mengjie and Wu Junting’s blossoming romance. A week ago, the pair were out with friends, watching a play and later hanging out when they were papped getting all sweet and affectionate towards each other. According to the gossip blogger’s narration, the couple looked like they were in their own little bubble, with nary a care at whoever’s watching. Wu Junting playfully pinched Rainbow Xu Mengjie’s cheek before gently kissing the back of her hand. Later, they sweetly held hands whilst strolling around and enjoying their time together.
They Chose Each Other as Partners on a Variety Show
It can be remembered that the two met whilst working on the variety show Hit It Off一拍即合的我们. Back then, they chose each other when it come to selecting partners. Pardon the pun but it looks like they’ve indeed hit it off not just in front of the cameras but in real life too. When both Rainbow Xu Mengjie and Wu Junting were being interviewed, their good natured bickering was too cute to watch and the chemistry is undeniably there. Although there’s an age difference of 7 years between them – Rainbow Xu is currently 30-years-old to Wu Junting’s 23, you won’t even notice it from the way they’re interacting.
Xu Mengjie acted alongside Chen Zheyuan in the youth series Our Secret in 2021. Wu Junting starred opposite Lu Yuxiao in Time and Him Are Just Right in 2022. The actor had commented “thank you” to a fan of their campus drama who asked for their second collaboration. While some took it the wrong way and felt he shouldn’t try to associate with Lu Yuxiao, others say there’s nothing wrong with his response nor should Wu Junting’s relationship status affect his projects.
