The Heavenly King himself, Aaron Kwok walks away with third place

58-year-old Aaron Kwok has made no secret of his love for driving fast cars. Last year, the superstar had a wrench thrown at his racing dreams after an accident at the Macau Grand Prix forced him to withdraw from the race. Well, the superstar is now back and in fighting form to boot as he takes on the track at the Zhuzhou International Circuit. As far as comebacks go, it’s pretty memorable one with his third place win as the cherry on top.

Hard work, determination, transformation, continuous learning. Different arenas, different experiences. This is my life. Winning third place wasn’t easy, but I’m satisfied. It’s because I’ve reached my capabilities and gave my all with a cool head” he said as he posted about his win on social media.

Aaron Kwok had an accident when he competed at the Macau Grand Prix last year. On the 5th lap, he lost control of his car and collided with another Hong Kong driver Chan Chun-leung at the famously treacherous Lisboa Bend which requires drivers to navigate a sharp turn. Both cars unfortunately slammed into the barrier, forcing both drivers to retire from the race. Thankfully, the megastar walked away safe and unscathed from the ordeal.
