Sun An-tso, Son of Celebrity Couple Sun Peng and Di Ying, in New Controversy

New trouble is brewing for Edward Sun An-tso , the controversial son of Taiwanese celebrity couple Sun Peng and Di Ying after he was caught in an alleged physical altercation with fellow judge Han Sen on the set of their reality show. In the clip circulating online, Sun An-tso appeared to be strangling his co-judge when Han Sen hit back. They proceeded to exchange heated words whilst the rest of the team tried to hold them off of each other.

According to Taiwanese media, the 24-year-old was triggered by his colleague’s words when he told him off. “Damn it! I’ve been putting up with you all day, really, from beginning to end, what right do you have to be a judge here? Do you even understand fighting? Have you ever thought about how these contestants feel when you judge them?“

Meanwhile, mum Di Ying just uploaded a new family photo showing all was well in her family. “Outside noise doesn’t really matter. Don’t doubt and deny yourself because of other people’s bad remarks. You only have one youth, you must be brave and do your best to be yourself” she said in a lengthy post.

Brushes with the Law

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time the 24-year-old found himself in a spot of trouble. In 2018, he made international headlines when he was arrested for making terrorist threats against his school in the US. He claimed he was “only joking” though police later found a large amount of ammunition and firearms in his possession. He was only 18 at the time. 

Later, he was deported back home to Taiwan and banned from ever entering the US again. Two years later, he was charged by Taiwanese prosecutors for his unsuccessful attempt to assemble a handgun from purchased gun components online.
