Hong Kong actor and martial artist Chin Siu-ho was in his heyday, known for leading roles. You may remember him acting alongside Jet Li in Tai Chi Master and Fist of Legend. Before that, he drew fame as part of Mr. Vampire in the eighties. Chin Siu-ho is the older brother of actor-host Chin Kar-lok who’s still active in the industry. Although Chin Siu-ho has long since stepped away from showbiz, the former actor recently resurfaced to appear in a cooking livestream with actress Yuk Mui Yeung where his fairly thin appearance sparked concern once again.
An Old School Chum Checks In
Meanwhile, even his old friend Anthony Wong dropped a message to check in on him. “Brother Siu-ho, perhaps you won’t see my well wishes, but I hope you are well and in good health. I still remember our days practicing martial arts. You were as powerful as a tiger! Take care of yourself!” wrote the Hong Kong actor and singer.
Chin Siu-ho replied that himself and Anthony have known each other since they were very young, saying they were both classmates and martial brothers. He reminisced about the time he was 14-years-old and went into the sparring ring. “Chau-sang (Anthony) came by to give me a martial arts comic book at 7 in the morning. My memory is still as fresh as ever! And we never spoke about it to anyone!” he said.

Health Concerns Over Weight Loss
The 61-year-old actor has repeatedly sparked concerns over his health due to his weight. Chin Siu-ho who stands at 173 cm tall attributes his significant weight loss – to not having any appetite after catching Covid for the second time in the past. Earlier this year, he addressed concerns when he told the media that he’s well and healthy.
