Hong Kong actress Mandy Wong Chi-man ushers in a new chapter in her career as she joins Supreme Art Entertainment. This move places her in the illustrious company of industry icons like Athena Chu and Ada Choi who along with action star husband Max Zhang, and singer Paul Wong is also under the same agency.
Mandy has experienced many life changes in the span of months. The 41-year-old actress, who started her showbiz journey after participating in the 2007 Miss Hong Kong Pageant, stayed on as a TVB artist for the next 16 years. She went on to star in many dramas, was nominated for Best Actress though she didn’t win. Her departure in December 2023, anticipated amidst industry rumors, aligns with Vincent Wong’s unexpected exit, marking a transformative period for both actress and network.
Beyond the glitz and glamour of her on-screen endeavors, Mandy recently tied the knot with her longtime beau, Anthony Jim. Their decade-long courtship culminated in an October wedding. With regards to what the future brings, she said, “I really want to collaborate with different actors, create more sparks, and approach everything—movies, variety shows, reality programs—with an open mind. I’m ready to embrace new challenges with optimism and openness!”
