After 19 years of engagement, Academy Award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh and former Ferrari CEO Jean Todt have finally tied the knot! The Malaysian actress gave fans a behind-the-scenes peek on Instagram.
One photo captured the couple smiling lovingly as they put a ring on each other. Yeoh also shared a photo from their wedding night and their room that’s decorated with swan-shaped towels and a heart-shaped arrangement of petals at the foot of the bed.
She also shared a poster from her Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies, photoshopped to say Love Never Dies with Todt’s photo replacing co-star Pierce Brosnan. She captioned the snaps with: “19 years and YES!! we are married!! Thkq to our ‘families’ who love us for all these years . We love you and here’s to many more to come”
The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 27, 2023. Yeoh, 60, and Todt, 77, first dated in 2004 and got engaged after almost 2 months of dating. The wedding was definitely a surprise not only to the fans but also to Michelle Yeoh’s mother who revealed in an interview that despite talking to her daughter a couple of weeks prior, the marriage was never brought up.
Michelle Yeoh was previously married to Hong Kong business magnate, Dickson Poon, while Todt shares a son from his previous relationship.
