Fans of Hong Kong classic cinema, here’s a big blast from the past from veteran actor Shek Sau. The 74-year-old actor still looks pretty spry in the photos he shared hanging out with other showbiz veterans like Damian Lau, Ricky Lau Wai Man both of whom are also well into their 70s, Bowie Wu who’s already 90 and Michelle Yim who is 66.
Meanwhile, Damian Lau who is so rarely seen out in the “wild” these days also looks pretty spry. Would you believe the 72-year-old actually did his own stunt in 2016 which involved rolling down a set of stairs? Thinking about it is enough to give me anxiety but not the showbiz veteran. According to the actor, he refused to use a body double whilst filming a scene in Shanghai for a project and rolled down 10 sets of stairs himself. Originally, his martial artist body double rolled down a long set of stairs. After taking a look at it however, Damian said it didn’t quite work that way and proceeded to do so himself. Looking back at it now, the actor said he was so impulsive.
